For anyone who has never been to Barbados let me have a go at helping you imagine what the island is like. Sun, sea and sand would be a start, luxury, lovely people, beautiful locations and lovely food!
I am lucky enough to go there once or twice every year. And this year was no different.
I've attempted to condense my holiday into one blog post. I'll be writing about my favourite location, my favourite outfits and much more.
My favourite beach:
The Crane beach
The Crane beach is located on the South coast of Barbados and is famous for its naturally white sand and crystal clear water. There is a beautiful hotel called The Crane where my family and I had lunch looking out to this beautiful view.
My favourite site to see:
North Point
North point is the most northern point of Barbados, this is where the Caribbean sea and the Atlantic ocean meet. There is a beautiful flower cave you can visit here. This is my favourite site to see because it is honestly breath taking.
My secret gem:
Cariba Restaurant
Located in St James parish this little restaurant is hidden away from the main road and not that well know amongst locals (WHY I DON'T KNOW). The food and the service was amazing. I had the beautiful satay dish in the photo above, seriously worth a visit!
My favourite day:
Coral reef club Spa
I had the most beautiful day at Coral reef club spa, I had the rejuvenation pedicure.
And spent the day relaxing by the pool eating raspberry sorbet and drinking champagne.
Wish I could do that every day.
The best place to shop:
Limegrove
Limegrove is a fairly new shopping mall filled with designer brands such as Cartier, Louis Vuitton, M.AC and many more. This is Barbados' only real shopping mall. It's also got a great bar in there called Limebar where I spotted all the boys from Made in Chelsea, it must be good if they're there right?
My favourite drinks location:
Cin Cin
This stunning location is the perfect place to relax and have drinks. They do amazing cocktails, I had a lovely peach, mango and Champagne cocktail.
It's a definite a must go.
My favourite day outfit:
Worn at L'azure at The Crane hotel
I bought this dress from asos like two years ago and have only now worn it!
My favourite evening outfit:
Worn at Cin Cin
The shirt is from Topshop, the skirt is from a vintage shop in Brick Lane and the shoes are from River island.
My make up essential:
M.A.C Transparent finishing powder/pressed
Essential cosmetics:
Thisworks Firming lotion and Perfect legs skin miracle.
Where I stayed:
Windrush Villa Sandy Lane
My family and I stayed at the beautiful Windrush Villa in the Sandy Lane estate.
It was pure luxury, I spent most of my days in that pool. It has three large bedrooms and an outside lounge area. Can you blame me for spending most my time here?
So! That was my holiday summed up in one post.
Barbados is a truly amazing place so if you haven't been there drag it up to the top of your places to visit list.
